Poco has officially expanded its M8 lineup with the new Poco M8x, bringing a large battery, a 120Hz display and the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset to the Indian market.

The Poco M8x is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, making it the first smartphone in India to launch with the new chipset. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with additional storage available through a microSD card.
The phone runs Android 16 based HyperOS 3 and will receive four generations of Android OS upgrades alongside six years of security updates.

The Poco M8x features a 6.9 inch HD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. An 8MP selfie camera sits inside the centered punch hole, while the rear setup consists of a 50MP main camera, an auxiliary sensor and an LED flash.
Power comes from a massive 7,900mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
Other features include a side mounted fingerprint scanner, IP64 protection, dual stereo speakers with Hi Res Audio and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Poco M8x is available in Leather Green, Black and Blue. The green version features a vegan leather rear panel. The 4GB/128GB model costs INR 20,999, while the 6GB/128GB version is priced at INR 22,999.
The Poco M8x will go on sale in India from August 27 through Flipkart.
