Samsung is continuing development of One UI 9 and has now expanded internal testing to several additional Galaxy smartphones. While the Galaxy S26 series remains the only lineup currently participating in the public One UI 9 beta program, evidence suggests Samsung is preparing the update for a much wider range of devices.
Recent findings reveal that Samsung has started testing One UI 9 builds for the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy A56, Galaxy S23 series, and the Galaxy S24 family. This follows earlier reports indicating that the company is also developing One UI 9 for the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy A16 5G, Galaxy A17 5G, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A57, and the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 has been spotted running a One UI 9 test build carrying firmware version F966USQUACZF3. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A56 is being tested with firmware version A566BXXUBDZFB, while the Galaxy S23 has appeared with firmware version S911BXXUAGZF9.
Samsung has also begun testing One UI 9 across the Galaxy S24 lineup. The Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, and Galaxy S24 FE have been identified running firmware versions S921BXXUFEZF7, S926BXXUFEZF7, S928BXXUFEZF7, and S721BXXUCEZF7 respectively.
Although Samsung has not yet confirmed which devices will join the beta program after the Galaxy S26 series, the growing number of internal test builds suggests the company is steadily preparing for a broader rollout.

Current rumors indicate that Samsung’s next-generation foldable smartphones will be the first devices to ship with One UI 9 pre-installed. These are expected to include the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which are rumored to be unveiled at Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 22 in London.
With testing now spreading across flagship foldables, premium Galaxy S models, and upper mid-range devices, Samsung appears to be accelerating development of One UI 9 ahead of its wider public release later this year.
