Oppo has officially announced the global launch date for its Reno16 smartphone lineup after beginning a teaser campaign earlier this week featuring K-pop group BABYMONSTER. While the company previously hinted that the devices would arrive soon, it has now confirmed that the Reno16 series will make its international debut on June 25.
The first markets scheduled to receive the new devices are Thailand and Spain, with additional regions expected to follow shortly after the initial launch event.

According to Oppo, the Reno16 series introduces a new “3D Pop Planet Design” that draws inspiration from cosmic themes. The company describes the look as a bold visual approach that reflects individuality, comparing each person to a unique planet within a larger universe.
Ling Liu, Oppo’s Overseas Chief Marketing Officer, said the Reno series continues to evolve with a focus on combining advanced technology, personal style, and creative expression. He added that the Reno16 lineup represents that vision through its refreshed design language and new AI-powered creative features. Liu also welcomed BABYMONSTER as the brand’s new Reno ambassador as Oppo begins what it describes as the next phase of the Reno series globally.

Although the Reno16 and Reno16 Pro were already introduced in China in May, the international versions are expected to differ from their Chinese counterparts. Oppo has not yet revealed the full specifications for the global models, leaving questions about how closely they will match the devices already available in China.
More details about the Reno16 series, including hardware specifications, software features, pricing, and market availability, are expected to be announced during the June 25 launch event.
