OnePlus has officially started teasing its upcoming N-series smartphones in India, confirming that the new lineup is on the way and will be sold through Amazon India.

The announcement follows recent rumors suggesting that OnePlus is preparing an entirely new entry-level smartphone family aimed at the highly competitive sub-₹20,000 segment. The company shared a teaser image on X that confirms the “OnePlus N” branding and labels the devices as an Amazon Specials launch.

While OnePlus has not revealed the first model’s name, leaks suggest the debut device could be called the OnePlus N6.

The new N-series will sit below the existing Nord lineup in OnePlus’ portfolio. Currently, the most affordable Nord model in India is the Nord CE6 Lite, which starts at around ₹23,000 for the base 6GB/128GB variant. The upcoming N-series is expected to undercut that pricing and compete directly with popular budget offerings from Redmi, Realme, and Poco.

OnePlus already has a long-standing partnership with Amazon India for smartphone launches, with previous Nord devices also debuting as Amazon Specials products.

Although an official launch date has not been announced, industry rumors point to a July debut. Some speculation links the launch window to Amazon’s annual Prime Day sales event, which is expected to take place around mid-July.

For OnePlus, the move represents a strategic push into India’s affordable smartphone market, allowing the brand to reach buyers who previously found even its Nord models beyond their budget. If pricing remains below ₹20,000 as rumored, the N-series could become OnePlus’ most accessible smartphone lineup yet.
