Xiaomi 17T Series Arrives in China With Larger Battery for Standard Model

After making their global debut last month, the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro have now launched in China. The biggest change concerns the standard Xiaomi 17T, which receives a larger 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, matching the capacity of the Pro model. This represents a 500mAh increase over the international version, while charging speeds remain unchanged at 67W.

Aside from the upgraded battery in the Xiaomi 17T and the availability of a new 16GB RAM option for the Xiaomi 17T Pro, the Chinese versions retain the same specifications as their global counterparts.

The Xiaomi 17T features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor and comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro is equipped with a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display offering Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and is available with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Pro model also benefits from a larger 1/1.31-inch main camera sensor and supports video recording at up to 8K resolution.

Pricing for the Xiaomi 17T in China starts at CNY 2,999 ($443/€385) for the 12GB/256GB version, while the 12GB/512GB model is priced at CNY 3,499 ($517/€450).

The Xiaomi 17T Pro starts at CNY 3,999 ($591/€513) for the 12GB/256GB configuration. The top-tier 16GB/512GB variant is available for CNY 4,799 ($709/€616).
