Samsung has officially expanded the rollout of its One UI 8.5 stable update, bringing the latest software experience to three more devices: the Galaxy M55, Galaxy A16 5G, and Galaxy A17 5G.
The Galaxy M55 is receiving the update with firmware version M556BXXU5DZE3. The package is approximately 3GB in size and includes the May 2026 Android security patch. The rollout has started in India, with more users expected to receive the update in phases over the coming days.

For the Galaxy A16 5G, Samsung is pushing firmware version A166PXXU7DZE2. The update weighs around 2.3GB, includes the latest May 2026 security patch, and is currently available in India and Indonesia.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A17 5G is getting firmware version A176BXXU5CZE9. The update is roughly 2.4GB in size and is rolling out across India, Nepal, France, Bulgaria, and Vietnam. Like the other devices, it also carries the May 2026 Android security update.
Pricing for the devices varies by market, with the Galaxy M55 currently available from around $273 for the 8GB/256GB model and €277.50 for the 8GB/128GB version. The Galaxy A16 5G starts at approximately $91.99 for the 4GB/128GB model and $128.89 for the 6GB/128GB variant. The Galaxy A17 5G is priced from around $99.88 for the 4GB/128GB version, while the 6GB/128GB model can reach about $192 depending on the region.
Users who have not yet received the update notification can manually check for availability by heading to Settings > Software Update on their device. As with most Samsung software releases, availability may vary depending on region and carrier.
