Meta has officially introduced new subscription plans for Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, expanding its push toward premium features and subscription-based services.
The new plans are rolling out globally and will exist alongside Meta Verified rather than replacing it.
Pricing starts at $3.99 per month for both Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus, while WhatsApp Plus is priced at $2.99 per month.

Subscribers to Facebook Plus and Instagram Plus will gain access to a range of exclusive features focused on personalization, audience management, and creator tools.
These additions include advanced Story analytics such as rewatch counts, the ability to create unlimited audience lists beyond the existing Close Friends feature, and the option to keep Stories visible for longer than the usual 24-hour expiration period.
Users will also be able to preview Stories before publishing, search through Story viewer lists more easily, and post content directly to their profile without it appearing in followers’ feeds.
Additional customization features include Super Heart animated reactions for Stories, custom app icons, personalized profile bio fonts, and expanded profile pin support.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp Plus subscribers will receive features such as custom ringtones, additional app themes, more pinned chats, enhanced list customization tools, and extra sticker packs.
Meta also confirmed that more subscription plans focused on creators, businesses, and Meta AI users are currently in development and will be introduced in the future.
The move signals Meta’s continued effort to diversify revenue streams beyond advertising while offering more advanced features to power users across its social and messaging platforms.
