Huawei has officially unveiled the Huawei nova 15 Max during an event in Thailand, with the smartphone’s biggest selling point being its enormous 8,500mAh battery. The device appears to closely resemble the Huawei Enjoy 90 Pro Max that launched in China earlier this year, suggesting it may essentially be a rebranded global variant.

Huawei has not officially disclosed the chipset powering the nova 15 Max, though it is widely expected to feature the Kirin 8000 processor used in the Enjoy 90 Pro Max. On the front, the device sports a 6.84-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, aiming to deliver smoother visuals and improved responsiveness.
For photography, the nova 15 Max includes a dual rear camera setup housed inside a circular camera module. The system is led by a 50MP RYYB main sensor paired with a secondary 2MP camera. On the front, users get an 8MP selfie camera designed for video calls and self-portraits.

The standout feature remains the huge 8,500mAh battery, which supports 40W fast charging. With battery capacities continuing to rise across the smartphone industry, Huawei is positioning the nova 15 Max as a device focused heavily on endurance and long-term daily usage.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, infrared sensor, Wi-Fi 7, 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port. Huawei also adds a customizable X button that can be used for quick actions and shortcuts.

The phone has also received SGS five-star durability certification, adding to its reliability-focused marketing. The nova 15 Max will be available in Blush Gold, Golden Black, and Lake Cyan color options across selected European and global markets, with pricing in Europe starting at €449.
