Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its next Edge series devices, and fresh renders have now surfaced showing the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ in a range of color options.

The leaked images appear to showcase both the Edge 70 Pro and Pro+ models, though it’s unclear which is which since they look nearly identical. If accurate, this suggests Motorola may not be making major design changes between the two variants, with differences likely focused on internal specs.

The renders reveal a sleek design offered in five distinct color finishes, giving users plenty of aesthetic choices right out of the gate.

As for confirmed specs, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro will feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and an impressive peak brightness of 5,200 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i for added durability.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It also packs a sizable 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging.

Camera-wise, the phone sports a triple rear setup, including a 50MP main sensor using Sony’s Lytia 710, alongside a 50MP ultrawide lens.

Motorola is also promising long-term software support, with three major Android updates and up to five years of security patches. The device is built to last physically as well, boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

With the official launch set for tomorrow, it won’t be long before all details about the Edge 70 Pro+ and its siblings are fully revealed.
