Huawei has expanded its latest lineup with the standard Huawei Pura 90, joining the previously announced Pro models but carving its own identity with a larger battery and a balanced camera system.

Unlike its more colorful siblings, the Pura 90 comes in more understated finishes—Snow White, Velvet Black, and Roland Purple. Despite packing a large battery, the phone remains sleek at just 7.0mm thick and weighs 210g.
Up front, it features a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display with a sharp 2856 × 1320 resolution. The panel supports a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 300Hz touch sampling rate for smooth and responsive interactions. It’s protected by Kunlun Glass and backed by IP68/IP69 ratings, offering strong resistance against water and dust.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Kirin 9010S chipset, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM. It runs on HarmonyOS 6.1 and comes with storage options of 256GB or 512GB.
One of its standout features is the massive 6,500mAh battery—larger than what’s found in the Pro variants. It supports 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, making it both long-lasting and quick to top up.

On the camera side, the Pura 90 offers a flexible triple setup:
50MP main (wide)
50MP periscope telephoto (3.5x zoom equivalent)
12.5MP ultrawide
For selfies, there’s a high-resolution 50MP front-facing camera.
Pricing starts at CNY 4,699 for the 12GB/256GB model, going up to CNY 5,699 for the 16GB/512GB variant. The phone is expected to hit the market before May 13.
With its combination of a large battery, premium display, and capable cameras, the Pura 90 stands out as a strong alternative to its Pro counterparts—especially for users who prioritize battery life.
