Redmi is gearing up to launch the Redmi K90 Max later this month alongside the K Pad 2, and the device has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing key performance details.

A prototype unit with model number 2604FRK1EC was spotted in the benchmark database, scoring 3,513 in single-core and 10,711 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 6.6. The listing confirms that the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM, although more configurations are expected at launch.

The phone will run Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 on top. It is also expected to feature an active cooling system with what is claimed to be the largest fan ever used in a smartphone, capable of reducing internal temperatures by up to 10 degrees Celsius in just 100 seconds.

According to rumors, the K90 Max will sport a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is also tipped to pack a massive 8,500mAh battery with 100W wired charging support.

Despite the inclusion of a cooling fan, the device is expected to maintain strong durability credentials with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
