A new leak suggests that Realme is preparing to expand its C-series lineup with the upcoming Realme C83. The device is expected to sit below the Realme C85 in the brand’s portfolio, following Realme’s usual naming structure. The C85 officially debuted in November, and now attention appears to be shifting toward a more affordable alternative.

According to the rumor, the Realme C83 will launch in three RAM and storage configurations: 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB, and 6GB/128GB. Pricing in India is tipped at INR 13,499 for the base model, INR 14,499 for the 4GB/128GB version, and INR 17,499 for the top-end 6GB/128GB variant. The handset reportedly carries the model number RMX5256 and is expected to be available in two color options — Sprouting Green and Blooming Purple. While full hardware specifications have not surfaced yet, additional details are likely to emerge soon.
The Realme C83 is expected to succeed the Realme C73, which launched in June last year. The C73 featured a 6.67-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, was powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset, and included a 32MP primary camera alongside an 8MP front-facing shooter. It also packed a sizable 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. If Realme follows a similar strategy, the C83 could bring incremental upgrades while maintaining competitive pricing in the budget segment.
