Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Launch Date Officially Confirmed as Reservations Go Live

Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date for its highly anticipated Galaxy S26 series. The upcoming flagship lineup is expected to include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Alongside the announcement, the company has also opened pre-reservations for customers eager to secure early access to the new devices.

As previously rumored, Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on February 25. The event is scheduled to be held in San Francisco and will be livestreamed globally through Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel, allowing fans and tech enthusiasts worldwide to follow the unveiling in real time.

In addition to confirming the event date, Samsung has begun accepting pre-reservations for the Galaxy S26 series. Interested buyers can visit Samsung’s official website, pay a small refundable fee, and reserve their spot to be among the first to purchase the new smartphones once sales officially begin.

While the official announcement is still a few weeks away, leaks have already revealed most of the key specifications across the lineup. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ are expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2600 processor in most markets. Both devices will reportedly retain the same display sizes as their Galaxy S25 counterparts and will come equipped with 12GB of RAM as standard.

Battery capacities are also said to remain largely unchanged. The Galaxy S26 is rumored to feature a 4,300mAh battery, while the Galaxy S26+ is expected to keep the 4,900mAh battery seen in the previous generation. Camera hardware on both models is tipped to stay the same as well, suggesting Samsung may be focusing more on software optimization and image processing improvements this year.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra, on the other hand, is expected to stand out with a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset. It will reportedly pack a 5,000mAh battery and support faster charging speeds, including up to 60W wired charging and 25W wireless charging. Although camera resolutions are rumored to remain unchanged, the Ultra model is said to feature lenses with larger apertures, potentially improving low-light performance and overall image quality.

With the launch date now officially locked in and reservations already open, all eyes are on February 25 as Samsung prepares to unveil its next generation of flagship smartphones.
