Apple is reportedly preparing to release the first iOS 26.4 beta within the next two weeks. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the update is expected to introduce early elements of Apple’s next-generation Siri, which is said to be powered by Gemini-based AI technologies.

Gurman notes that the initial iOS 26.4 beta should reach developers during the week of February 23, assuming Apple does not encounter any last-minute delays. This release would mark the first public step toward Apple’s broader Siri revamp.
While iOS 26.4 will not include the full chatbot-style Siri experience, it will reportedly let users test select new AI-driven capabilities. The complete Siri overhaul is expected to be officially unveiled alongside iOS 27 at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Meanwhile, iOS 27 is said to focus largely on bug fixes, internal code cleanup, subtle design tweaks, and overall performance improvements.
