AI on smartphones is already useful in practical ways, even if some features are overhyped. Things like camera scene detection, real-time language translation, voice assistants, spam call filtering, and battery optimization rely on AI and noticeably improve daily use. While we’re still early in advanced on-device AI, today’s implementations already save time, enhance photos, and make phones feel smarter without users even realizing it.
