iQOO 15R Launch Scheduled for Next Month in India

iQOO has officially confirmed the India launch timeline for its upcoming smartphone, the iQOO 15R, after weeks of teasers aimed at the Indian market. The company announced via an X post that the iQOO 15R will make its debut in India on February 24, adding another device to its growing mid-to-premium lineup.

While iQOO has not yet shared the full specifications of the handset, recent leaks have provided a clearer picture of what to expect. The iQOO 15R is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, positioning it as a high-performance device. It is expected to run Android 16-based OriginOS, and feature a dual rear camera setup, although specific sensor details have not been officially confirmed.

According to reports, the iQOO 15R is likely a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was launched in China earlier this month. If this turns out to be accurate, the Indian variant could come with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display offering a 144Hz refresh rate, a 200MP primary rear camera, and a large 7,600mAh silicon-carbon battery, focusing on both performance and endurance.

With the launch date now confirmed, more official details are expected to surface in the coming weeks as iQOO ramps up its promotional efforts ahead of the February unveiling.
