Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to launch later this year, bringing notable display upgrades and a redesigned Dynamic Island. A new leak has now revealed the exact dimensions of the cutout on the Pro models, suggesting a significant visual change.
According to well-known tipster Ice Universe, the iPhone 18 Pro series will feature a much smaller Dynamic Island cutout measuring 13.49mm in width. For comparison, the current iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have a cutout width of 20.76mm, making the new design substantially more compact.

This reduction represents roughly a 35% decrease in size compared to the existing Pro models. The leak aligns with recent rumors claiming Apple may move Face ID components under the display on the iPhone 18 Pro lineup, allowing for a cleaner and more immersive screen design.
In addition to the smaller Dynamic Island, Apple’s next-generation Pro iPhones are rumored to adopt LTPO+ OLED displays for improved efficiency and performance. The entire iPhone 18 lineup is also expected to receive upgraded front-facing cameras, further enhancing selfies and video calls.
