Xiaomi is rumored to be adding a new model to its flagship 17 series, called the Xiaomi 17 Max, and early leaks suggest battery life will be its biggest selling point. The device is said to feature an 8,000mAh battery, the largest in the lineup, targeting users who want long-lasting performance without frequent charging.

Despite the massive battery, the Xiaomi 17 Max is expected to support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and feature a display with ultra-thin, symmetrical bezels, keeping the premium flagship look intact.

On the camera side, the phone is said to share the same main sensor as the standard Xiaomi 17 but adds a periscope telephoto camera, giving it an edge in zoom photography. While the launch date remains unknown, more details are expected to surface soon as Xiaomi prepares to expand its 17 series.
