YouTube Recap is now live — giving users a personalized “year in review” of their 2025 watch history.
The recap consists of up to 12 interactive cards showing your top-watched channels, favourite topics, evolving interests over the year, and even a fun “viewer personality type” based on your habits.
If you also listen to a lot of music on YouTube, the Recap will include top artists, songs, genres, and podcasts — though for deeper music stats you’d still use YouTube Music.
🔎 Where & When You Can Find It
The Recap is rolling out starting December 2, 2025, first in North America and then globally, reaching more regions this week.
On mobile or desktop, look under the “You” tab or check the homepage — if Recap is available in your region you’ll see a banner or prompt there.
✅ Why It’s Worth Checking Out
It’s the first time YouTube offers a full personalized Year-End Recap, similar to what music platforms like Spotify do — but for all the videos you watched.
Recap gives a fun, shareable snapshot of your 2025 content journey: your favourite creators, trends, how your interests changed — a good reflection before the year ends.
