Apple has officially revealed the list of devices that will support its upcoming software updates, including iOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, iPadOS 27, and watchOS 27. The announcement follows the unveiling of the new operating systems at WWDC 2026, alongside the release of developer beta versions.

For iPhone users, iOS 27 will be available for the iPhone SE (2nd generation), the iPhone 11 series, and all newer models. In practice, this means any device currently running iOS 26 will also be eligible for the upgrade. However, some Apple Intelligence features, including parts of the new Siri AI system, will only work on select supported devices.

On the iPad side, iPadOS 27 will support the iPad mini (6th generation) and newer models, including the A17 Pro variant. It will also run on the standard iPad (9th generation and later), iPad with A16, iPad Air (4th generation and newer), and newer M-series iPad Air models including the 13-inch version. For iPad Pro users, compatibility extends to the 11-inch model (2nd generation and later), the 12.9-inch model (4th generation and later), and newer M4-equipped versions.

macOS 27 Golden Gate will be available across Apple silicon-powered Macs, including Mac Pro systems, Mac Studio (2022 and newer), Mac mini (2020 and later), iMac (2021 and later), MacBook Pro (2020 and later), and MacBook Air (2020 and newer). The newly introduced MacBook Neo is also included in the supported devices list.

Finally, watchOS 27 will be compatible with Apple Watch SE 3, Apple Watch Series 9 and later models, as well as Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Ultra 3.
