The Oppo Reno15 series launched in China in November and has only recently started rolling out to other markets. Despite this, Oppo is already moving ahead with its successor, as new information about the upcoming Reno16 lineup has now surfaced online.
According to a fresh leak from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, all Reno16 models launching in China will share several key specifications. These reportedly include a 200MP main camera alongside a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor, pointing to a strong emphasis on camera performance across the entire range. The devices are said to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 chipset and will feature a metal frame paired with a LIPO OLED display.

Oppo’s marketing strategy for the Reno16 series is expected to focus on a thin and lightweight design while still highlighting strong imaging capabilities. If the leak is accurate, the Reno16 family is set to debut in China around the middle of the year, with more details likely to emerge as the launch draws closer.
