A new leak has revealed detailed information about the camera sensors expected on the upcoming OPPO Find X9 Ultra, and the focus is clearly on pushing mobile photography to the next level. According to the report, the flagship is set to feature a quad-camera system headlined by two massive 200MP sensors. The main camera is tipped to use a large Sony sensor, designed to deliver exceptional detail, dynamic range, and improved low-light performance, placing it among the most advanced smartphone cameras to date.
The second 200MP sensor is said to power a mid-range telephoto camera, an unusual but strategic move that could allow for higher-quality zoom shots with less loss of detail. This is complemented by a 50MP ultra-wide camera for expansive shots and another 50MP periscope telephoto lens capable of long-range optical zoom. Together, these four cameras are expected to cover a wide range of focal lengths while maintaining consistent image quality across zoom levels.
Beyond hardware, OPPO is also expected to rely heavily on advanced image processing and colour science, potentially enhanced by its continued collaboration with Hasselblad. While these details remain based on leaks, the specifications suggest the Find X9 Ultra could be one of the most camera-focused smartphones of its generation, aiming to compete directly with the very best flagship camera phones when it launches.
